Recording of Presentation: Online courses in Beginner Swedish for children and teens in Europe, Africa and the Middle East

Today we had the first out of five presentations on Zoom about the course program at the SMUL Academy during next school year, 2022-2023.

The first session was focusing on courses in Beginner Swedish for children and teens who live in Europe, Africa or the Middle East. All classes are given online and can be taken with English or French as support languages.

During today’s session, Lena Normén-Younger presented the bakground to SMUL, the online course program for beginners of Swedish, the curriculum and student literature, the webiste and how to sign up.

Teachers

Maria Diemar lives in Texas, US.

Instruction in English: Maria Diemar is the teacher in the classes taught in English. She has formal education in Swedish as a Second Language from Sweden, and experience of teaching students at the Swedish School of Plano, Texas and Melbourne in Australia. She has also taught adult immigrants in Sweden.

Instruction in French: Eva Cimino is the teacher in the classes taught in French. She is formally trained as a pre-school teacher and Montessori teacher. She has taught students of all ages at Swedish School of Paris for many years.
